Book Review: The Wright Mistake

A new stand alone enemies-to-lovers romance by USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde…

I spent six weeks screwing Austin Wright’s brains out and all I got was this broken heart.

He can’t be trusted. Not with my body or my heart. Yet, two years have passed and I still crave him like an addict needing a fix.

The last time we tried this, it nearly ruined me. I know I should run and never look back. But his dark haunted eyes and razor blade smile speak to my soul. His touch sets my body on fire. And we all know what happens when you light gasoline. Someone is bound to get burned.

A second chance might destroy us both.

Because everyone knows two wrongs don’t make a Wright.

The Wright Mistake is by far the best of this series.  It is emotional and gut wrenching at times.  If you read the other books in the series, you are well aware of Austin’s problems and that he had a relationship with Julia.  We didn’t know any details but it ended poorly.

Both Austin and Julia have heavy emotional baggage to deal with from their pasts.  Unfortunately or fortunately, however you make look at it, these two have all the charts chemistry.  Clearly, they want to be in a relationship but these issues they have are difficult and extremely relatable.  More than likely, we have all known someone or been through their issues ourselves.  I love that KA Linde didn’t sugar coat any of this and made her characters suffer.  If she would have provided an easy solution and a HEA quickly, this book would have been a DNF.

Julia and Austin’s journey to mend their hearts and minds is definitely not to miss.  I couldn’t flip the pages fast enough because I wanted the best for both of these characters.  KA Linde left the best for the last with the Wright brothers but I can’t wait to see what is in store for the Wright sisters!
